Getting started
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 14-day free trial needs no card — sign up and you’re in.
How long does setup take?
Most makers run their first batch the same day. Pick your craft, add a few ingredients or recipes, and go — there’s no onboarding call to book.
Can I switch crafts later?
Yes. The owner can switch the workspace’s craft in settings at any time, and your existing recipes are kept.
What it does
Which crafts are supported?
Bread, cheese, and chocolate are live today, each with its own domain-specific modules. Charcuterie and confectionery are on the roadmap.
What can it actually do?
Everything from raw ingredient to wholesale order: recipes and costing, production batches, scheduling, inventory and finished goods, wholesale orders and invoicing, food-safety and compliance records, label PDFs, and traceability from each product back to its batch and forward to the customers who ordered it.
Will it help me price my products?
Yes — it tracks true cost per unit (ingredients, milk, labor, scrap) and shows live margin by SKU, so you can price with confidence instead of guesswork.
Does it handle wholesale orders and invoices?
Yes. Take wholesale orders, map them to production, fulfil from finished-goods stock, and send invoices with per-account pricing. Standing orders are built in: set a customer's weekly order once and the system creates each week's orders — and feeds them into your production plan — automatically.
What about the EU deforestation rules (EUDR) for cocoa?
From mid-2027 even small chocolate makers selling in the EU must be able to show which farm and lot their cocoa came from. ArtisanFlows records farm and origin on each cacao, the supplier lot on each delivery and, when you pick it, the cacao delivery each bean-to-bar run started from. It doesn’t yet record which delivery went into each ordinary bar batch.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes — every plan includes unlimited users. Invite your team with owner, manager, and producer roles, assign batches, and share a shift log.

How much does it cost?

What counts as a production run?
One recipe made on one day. Make one batch of your country sourdough or twenty on the same day — that’s one run. The same recipe on another day is another run, and so is a different recipe on the same day. Days follow your workspace’s time zone. A bakery pre-ferment one of your bread formulas is built on (a levain, poolish or biga) doesn’t count, unless you also sell it, and neither does the sample data. A guided step-by-step make is an ordinary batch, and bean-to-bar couverture runs on the Production page aren’t counted.
What happens if I go over?
We tell you in the app and by email when you reach 80% and 100% of the month’s runs. If you go over, nothing stops for 3 days. After that, adding a batch of a recipe you haven’t already made that day is paused until you move to a bigger plan, we add extra runs for the month at your request, or the next month begins. Batches you’ve already planned can still be started and finished, more batches of that day’s recipes can be added, and all your records stay open. Runs start again when the 1st of the month begins UTC (the world clock we count months in), which in your own time can fall on the evening of the last day of the month or partway through the 1st — the note in the app names the exact moment. We never move you to a bigger plan or charge you more on our own.
How do I pay?
By card through Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details, receipts and invoices live in the billing portal, and you can cancel there yourself. To move between plans, email us at hello@artisanflows.com and we’ll switch you over — usually the same day.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel your subscription yourself from the billing portal — no email required, no lock-in. It runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is charged automatically without a card. If you don’t choose a plan, your workspace becomes read-only — you can still see and download everything, and your data stays put until you’re ready.
Your data
Is my data mine?
Always. Export everything to JSON whenever you like, and delete your account on request.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU, on managed Postgres. Your recipes and formulations are private to your workspace and never shared or used to train anything.
Is it secure?
Each workspace is fully isolated — one producer can never see another’s data — and access is role-based. See our Privacy page for the details.
