Terms of Service
Last updated 21 July 2026. Please read these terms carefully — they govern your use of ArtisanFlows and include important limitations of liability.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (and, if you use ArtisanFlows on behalf of an organization, that organization) and ArtisanFlows (“we”, “us”, “ArtisanFlows”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You confirm you are at least 18 and have authority to bind any organization you represent.
2. The service
ArtisanFlows provides production-management, record-keeping, costing, compliance record and wholesale tools for craft-food makers, offered on a subscription basis. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular feature will remain available.
3. Not professional advice — you are responsible for compliance
ArtisanFlows is a record-keeping and calculation tool. All outputs — including yield, cost, margin, fat-content and nutrition figures, temperature, aging and expiry suggestions, labels, allergen and traceability records, schedules and reports — are informational only. They do not constitute food-safety, regulatory, legal, accounting, tax, or professional advice, and they do not certify compliance with any law or standard. You are solely responsible for your production decisions, for the accuracy of the data you enter, for food-safety and labeling compliance, for your tax and accounting obligations, and for verifying any output before relying on it. Compliance and traceability features are aids to your own records — not a substitute for your legal obligations or a qualified professional.
4. Accounts and your workspace
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and, if you are a workspace owner or administrator, for the users you invite, their access levels, and their use of the service. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Authentication is handled by our identity provider; access to a workspace's data is scoped to that organization.
5. Subscriptions, fees and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring (monthly or annual) basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled; you authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and no credit is given for partial periods, downgrades, or unused time. Prices are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for. We may change prices or plans; changes apply from your next renewal and we will give reasonable advance notice. If a payment fails or is charged back, we may suspend or terminate your access until it is resolved.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the service unlawfully or in breach of these Terms; access, probe or interfere with other organizations' data or the security or integrity of the service; reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works of the service; resell or provide the service to third parties except as intended; upload malware or unlawful, infringing or harmful content; or use the service to build a competing product. We may investigate and suspend accounts that violate this section.
7. Your data and content
As between you and us, you own all data, recipes, formulations and other content you put into ArtisanFlows(“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, process, transmit and display Your Content solely to provide, secure and improve the service for you. We do not sell Your Content or use your recipe data for any purpose other than operating the service. You are responsible for Your Content, including its accuracy and your right to use it. You can export and delete your data at any time from Settings; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
8. Confidentiality
We treat your recipes and formulations as your confidential information and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect them. We restrict access to the personnel and systems needed to run the service. This does not apply to information that is public through no fault of ours or that we are legally required to disclose.
9. Our intellectual property
The service, including its software, design, and the ArtisanFlows name and marks, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service during your subscription, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.
10. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties (including payment, authentication, email and hosting providers). Your use of those features may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or their acts or omissions.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any output is accurate or complete. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business, or for regulatory penalties, product loss or recalls, however caused. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred (100) units of your billing currency. These limitations are a fundamental basis of our agreement and apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us and our personnel harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends. We will make your data available for export for a reasonable period, after which we may delete it. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 3, 7–13, 15 and 16) survive termination.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing here affects any mandatory rights you have under the laws of your place of residence.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-app). Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel.
17. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the provision is modified to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them, for example in connection with a merger or sale. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
